Logan's Facebook Status: I miss EFY :(

Logan's home, and as you can see, he seemingly had a good time. He roomed with Alan, the guy in the orange T-shirt, his friend who had double duty as his nurse maid. His counselor, the guy in the royal blue shirt, far left, they nicknamed Woody, after the Toy Story cowboy we all know and love.

Tuesday, Logan went to see the bone specialist who announced he didn't have a fracture, but that the trauma to the area was extensive and the splint 'n sling were absolutely the right things to be wearing. He's been released from their bondage and is walking around on cloud 9 as he finds himself back in the drivers seat.

On Logan's goal sheet for the week: Unbreak my arm. Which, apparently, he did, so to speak :D

Finished

I decided to read ONE DAY because the movie was coming out... I so love Anne Hathaway ... and I thought it a great chick flick to see with my very best girlfriend, but I'm sad to say that there's no way I can see the movie after reading the book. Unless they change the ending. Then, maybe, I could be talked into it.

As for reading the book...be warned...the f-word is used a lot and I could have done without reading about Dexter's escapades. I suppose, for me, the lifestyle is so far removed from my own that I just felt terribly sad throughout the whole of it, and once I finally received a ray of hope, of sunshine, it was ripped away senselessly. I suppose the author thought, "Such is life", but I simply felt the worse for having read it, not the better.

Should I read it?

Perhaps THE HELP would be a better movie choice. Also a book. It's been on my to-read list for awhile.

Finished 1-2-3

THE FORBIDDEN GAME was an interesting trilogy in that I actually wanted the "bad guy" to get the girl. NEVER before have I wanted it as much as I did in these books. In fact, never before have I ever even wanted it at all. To the point I had to question myself over-and-over as to why. I go back and forth between what I think of the trilogy three stars or two and still I sit undecided. I would love the author to write another and give me what I want just so I can feel what I can't explain.

Perhaps it's because Jenny and Julian have chemistry and Jenny and Tom have ordinary and who wants that, ordinary, when you can have extraordinary? My favorite part of the whole trilogy was when Julian thought Jenny died and she saw in him what she could love....

Interestingly, I just realized L.J. Smith is also the author of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES which is on my to-read list and a television show I delight in watching even though I know I shouldn't. I can quite admit to loving the Salvatore Brothers, both of them!!!

Vampires  Werewolves  Hybrids  Witches  ...and Ghosts

September 15th is almost here
